On 19 July, Rotarians from across the District came together in La Conner to celebrate the installation of Kathleen Olson as the 2026-202 District Governor. The swearing in was provided by RI Director Marty Helman who is on a 40 District Impact Tour From Barrow to Bermuda. Director Helman will be visiting every District in Zones 28 & 32 over the next two years.
Afterwards, the District Governor Banner was presented to Dave Kraski, President of the Rotary Club of Arlington by IPDG Isabelle Martinez Hayer.
Kathleen's Brother-In-Law, Rob Olson, served as Master of Ceremonies. After the fantastic lunch--thank you Shawn O'Donnell--everyone gathered outside for the unveiling of a Peace Pole that has been installed in front of the restaurant. May Peace Prevail on Earth is presented in four languages. We encourage you to stop by to see it.
