Mary Kalbert (2001-2002) District 5750
John & Mary Kalbert
Mary Kalbert is a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Oklahoma City University.
Mary began her career in the Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Fort Worth, Texas. She held technical, instructor, instructor and management positions in Forth Worth, Dallas, and Oklahoma City. She then became self-employed as a negotiator of large case audit findings and Offers in Compromise in a multi-state area.
Mary became a Rotarian in 1991. She had served as Director, Sgt. At Arms, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect and President of the Midwest City Rotary Club in District 5750 (in the northwest quadrant of Oklahoma).
Mary participated in a number of District 5750 assignments including Youth Exchange, Community Service, RYLA, Group Study Exchange, and Wings of Rotary.
Mary was the GSE Team Leader to Turkey in 1997 and the Wings of Rotary Leader to Japan in 1998. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Foundation Benefactor, and a Sustaining Member.

In addition, Mary was an active past President of the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce. She served on the First Fidelity Bank Advisory Board and the Midwest City Hospital Authority Board of Grantors. She was also a past Chairman of the Tinker Area YMCA.
Mary and her husband John, a retired USAF and commercial airline pilot, enjoy time with their four children and five grandchildren.
They also enjoy flying, traveling and salmon fishing in the Pacific Northwest.
