Your Adventure Begins!
Kick off the weekend with opportunities to connect and enjoy the natural beauty of the Harrison area. Choose from a round of golf, a guided hike through nearby trails, or a relaxing boat tour on picturesque Harrison Lake. In the evening, join fellow attendees for an outdoor party at the Harrison Country Club. Enjoy great food, live music, and local beverages in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. It's the perfect way to celebrate the start of a meaningful weekend.

  • Mural Tour (Downtown Chilliwack): 10:30am (1.5 Hours) 20 spots available
    Join Rotarian Michael Berger from Chilliwack Tours on a special extended length mural tour through Chilliwack's beautiful District 1881 and surrounding neighbourhood. Michael will share his insights about the artwork produced for the annual Chilliwack Mural Festival and a bit of Chilliwack's history too. See incredible art from world-renowned muralists, as well as local indigenous artists.

    This tour is suitable for all ages and abilities although is a short set of stairs to navigate. The tour will run rain or shine - dress for the weather and bring a camera! You'll want to capture your memories of this beautiful area.

    Cost is $20.00, with half the proceeds going towards The Rotary Foundation.
     
  • Golfing at Harrison | There are two golf courses nearby if you’d like to golf. Please make your own arrangements directly with the course to book a tee time.
  • Boat Tour on Harrison Lake | 2 Hours "During this two-hour tour, the Laroan charts a course along the lake's west side, floating past the green waters of Echo Bay, the towering rock formations of Echo Island, and the cold cascades of Rainbow Falls. The tour concludes with a cruise past Sasquatch Provincial Park. The tour includes light commentary about the lake, and history of the area.

    Food and beverage are available for purchase from our Licensed Restaurant and Bar. Please see our Menu page for all options."

    • Book directly with Shoreline Tours for the 11:30am tour on Friday May 1. The tour is public and not limited to conference attendees. Tickets are available in limited quantities.

  • Nature Walk: 3pm | Register on Conference page 30 spots available
    Renew your spirit with a stroll on a flat trail through Spirit Park, a nearby woodland. Join retired forester, Debora, and discover spring flowers, edible plants and some surprising sculptures! A local Indigenous leader may join us. The leisurely walk is approximately one hour long. No special attire needed but please dress for the weather. 
     
  • Welcome Party: 5:30pm - 9:30pm | Harrison Country Club (400 Hot Springs Road)

Conference Day
Spend the day immersed in thoughtful discussion, learning, and inspiration. Saturday's programming will feature keynote speakers, expert panels, and engaging workshops focused on the key issues facing our communities today. Topics will include climate resilience, mental health, youth empowerment, among others. You'll hear from leaders in the field and take part in sessions designed to spark ideas and identify actionable ways our Rotary clubs can lead and support change. Throughout the day, connect with fellow Rotarians, share ideas, and build
partnerships that can carry forward the work beyond the weekend.

Closing Ceremonies & Give back to our host City through service

On Sunday, we'll gather for breakfast and closing remarks, including a special look ahead at 2026-2027 led by incoming District Governor, Kathleen Olson. Afterward, all attendees are invited to participate in hands-on service projects at Seabird Island and with the Earthwise Society. These activities have been thoughtfully designed to be inclusive of a range of skills and abilities, offering meaningful ways to give back to our host city and end the weekend with purpose.

    • Earthwise - Plant Seedlings: 10:30am
      Join us at the Earthwise Society site to help plant food that supports the local community, remove invasive plants, and take part in other activities that help this beautiful space thrive. Your efforts will help keep this special place a vibrant jewel in the Agassiz community.
       
    • Streamside Stewardship: 10:30am 
      The Miami River Streamkeepers Society is welcoming our help to remove invasive plants from the banks of the stream that flows nearby through Harrison Hot Springs. If we combine our efforts, we can make a difference! This activity is about 1 ½ hours long. Suitable for all abilities. Prepare to get dirty!
       
    • Lake Clean Up (Harrison Lake): Morning
      The Cultus Lake Diving Club is a local group of recreational freedivers and scuba divers who organize informal waterway cleanups in the Chilliwack area. For this activity, 3–8 divers will spend about one hour removing debris from the lakebed near the shoreline, dock, and inflatable playground of Harrison Lake. This is a self-organized volunteer effort. Community members are welcome to observe and ask questions.
