Best in the District Awards

Recognizing Clubs and Individuals

 
At the District Installation Banquet on 17 July Past District Governor Bev Harrington and Awards Chair DGN Dave Duskin, announced the “Best of the District” awards, recognizing Clubs for achievements during the 2021-2022 Rotary Year. Except for the membership awards which were based on end of the year numbers provided by Rotary International, to be eligible for an award a nomination was necessary. Membership awards are based on percentages and not on gross numbers. Here are the awards:
Membership Awards
            Most New Members:  Rotary Club of Surrey
Most New Female Members:  Tie between the Rotary Clubs of North Delta & Port Coquitlam.
Most New Members Under 40: Rotary Club of Mission Mid-Day
Best Retention Rate: Tie Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise & North Delta
Best Program to Attract and Retain New Members (selected by Committee): Rotary Club of Fidalgo Island
            Use of a "Fun Club" theme used as its brand on everything it does.
